What to Do When Your PC Is Stuck in a BIOS Loop

If your computer keeps restarting into the BIOS screen and never loads Windows, try these steps to select the correct boot device and check connections.

Your PC repeatedly opens the BIOS setup instead of booting into Windows.
Caused By
- Loose or disconnected SATA cable on your SSD/HDD
- Possible hardware failure in the storage device
Resolution / Steps
- Press the power button to restart. As the PC powers on, press
F11orF12(depending on your model) to enter the boot menu. - In the boot menu, use the arrow keys to select your primary storage device (e.g., “P4-120” or “Whalekom SSD”) and press
Enter. - If Windows still doesn’t load, hold down the power button for about 5 seconds to force a shutdown, then power it on again and repeat step 1.
- If the issue continues after trying the correct boot device, go to helpdesk.elisha.ph and submit a ticket for hardware inspection and assistance.
