Fix PC Stuck on Loading Screen

Details

User can’t progress past the boot/loading screen and cannot use the PC.

Caused By

• Possible hardware failure (SSD or HDD)
• Improper shutdown causing system state corruption

Resolution / Steps

1. Soft reboot:
   Press the power button once to restart the PC. If it still hangs, proceed to step 2.
2. Force shutdown:
   Hold the power button for ~5 seconds until the PC powers off, then press it again to start up.
3. Escalate:
   If the issue persists after rebooting and force shutdown, submit a ticket to IT for a hardware check (SSD/HDD diagnostics).
