Details
Visual effects for smoothing font edges have been turned off, leading to jagged or fuzzy text.
Caused By
Font smoothing and anti-aliasing settings are disabled in system properties or the display resolution isn’t optimal.
Resolution / Steps
- Enable font smoothing:
- Open File Explorer, right-click This PC, and select Properties.
- Click Advanced system settings on the left.
- Under the Advanced tab, click Settings in the Performance section.
- Check Smooth edges of screen fonts, click Apply, then OK.
- Restart your computer.
- Adjust display resolution:
- Right-click a blank spot on your desktop and choose Display settings.
- Under Display resolution, pick the highest (recommended) option from the dropdown.
- Click Keep changes when prompted.
- If fonts are still blurry, go to helpdesk.elisha.ph and submit a ticket for further assistance.
