Fix Printer Connection for HR Department
Overview:
If members of the HR team can’t print documents, it may be due to the printer’s IP settings or the Print Spooler service. Follow these steps to restore printing.

Details
Users receive errors or no response when sending print jobs, indicating the computer isn’t communicating with the printer.
Caused By
- The printer’s IP address was changed and the computers weren’t updated
- The Print Spooler service on PCs needs restarting
Resolution / Steps
- Go to the PC that used to print successfully to this printer.
- Click the Start button, type Services, and press Enter.
- In the Services window, scroll to and double-click Print Spooler.
- In the Print Spooler Properties window, click Stop, then click Start.
- Click Apply and OK.
- If printing still fails, go to helpdesk.elisha.ph and submit a ticket for IT to update the printer IP or check connectivity.
